Can I reserve your tasting room for an event?

We do not currently take general reservations at this time, if you are having a large group, of 35+ people, please inquire about pricing for a partial buyout/full buyout with blanca@hpb.la.

Can I bring my child/children?

Yes, we have a full food menu and some non-alcoholic drinks for individuals of all ages. Well-behaved children are welcome to accompany an individual 21+ to the tasting room. It goes without saying, you must be 21+ to purchase alcohol.

Are dogs allowed in your tasting room?

Although we love dogs very much, they are not allowed in the tasting room, but we our large patio that is dog friendly (for well behaved friendly dogs)!

Do you serve food in your tasting room?

Yes, we serve food and generally have something for the most common dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian). For the current menu, visit our Taproom page.

Can I bring in outside food to the tasting room?

Because we have a full kitchen, we kindly ask that you do not bring in any food not prepared in our kitchen, we do have vegan and vegetarian friendly options. One exception to this rule, since we do not serve desserts at this time, you are welcome to bring celebratory desserts, but we can not provide any utensils or plates, please be sure to bring your own. *A sandwich/burrito is not a dessert.

Do you serve flights?

We do not serve flights. Depending on the beer, we typically offer two sizes a full pour and a half pour.

Do you fill growlers?

We don’t offer growler fills at this time, but we often have a wide selection of our beers available to go in 4-packs of cans.

I don’t drink beer, do you have any other beverage options?

Yes! We have an amazing curated wine menu, as well as non-alcoholic offerings. We also typically have options for cider, seltzer, and wine spritz. In the summer we also typically have Seltzer Smoothies!

Why Highland Park Brewery when you are in Chinatown?

Our original (and still operating) brewery is located in a small area (under 500 sq. foot) behind The Hermosillo bar on York Blvd in Highland Park. This is a production only facility. Since it is so very, very, very close to The Hermosillo, you will often find quite a few of our beers on tap there.

What’s with all the cats?

In our warehouse we have working cats that help protect our grain from wild intruders. To learn more about working cats visit: Kitty Bungalow.

Do you have a membership program?

Yes, we do. Our Bottle Friends membership program provides 10% at the taproom (and online purchases) & access to limited and exclusive specialty bottles. Enrollment opens once a year, you can join the wait list on our membership page.

Do you deliver beer direct to consumer?

We do local delivery on select days throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Head to our delivery page for more information.

Do you sell gift cards?

We do sell gift cards. Available in tasting room and online store (gift cards purchased from the online store are for tasting room use only).

Do you ship canned and bottled beer direct to consumer?

We occasionally offer mixed cases of cans for shipping in California. Check our instagram for on sale notices.

It seems like a great place to work, are you hiring?

When we are hiring, we typically post open positions to our Instagram stories.

Can I buy a keg from you for a personal event/wedding/party?

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to supply kegs to retail customers at this time.

I want to serve your beer in my bar, will you distribute beer to me?

Due to our limited capacity we only have a small amount of draft accounts and a long list of interested accounts. To inquire directly about receiving beer in the future, email sales@hpb.la

I’m a nonprofit organization, 501(c)(3), will you donate to us?

We seek to support organizations who share our goal of creating a holistic community. We strive to work with organizations who are concerned with alleviating the suffering of our neighbors, our planet, and our animal friends. While we unfortunately are unable to donate beer to events, or work with every charity who does great work, at times we are able to provide monetary donations through beer sales in our taproom.
