Essential cookies are always on, because the shop, your account and checkout can't work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you switch them on. You can change your choice at any time using the "Your Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page.

When a page loads, before you make a choice, a few services still receive basic information without using cookies: the page address, your browser type and your IP address. These are Google Analytics and Google Ads in cookieless mode, Independent Analytics (our own site statistics), Cloudflare (security and performance), Square and Google Pay (payment scripts on product, cart and checkout pages), and embedded content such as our Instagram feed and fonts.

These cookies are needed for the site to work, so they can't be switched off.

• Cart, checkout and your account (WooCommerce): remember what's in your cart and keep you signed in to your account, subscriptions and memberships. Until you close the browser or up to 48 hours; sign-in up to 14 days if you choose "Remember me".
• Payment security (Square and Google Pay): protect payments and detect fraud at checkout. Up to 400 days.
• Your cookie choice (GDPR Cookie Compliance, WP Consent API): remember what you chose here. 90 days.
• Security (Cloudflare): protect the site, checkout and forms from attacks and bots.
• Instagram feed (Elfsight): the Instagram feed on our homepage is provided by Elfsight, whose servers set two short-lived technical cookies (up to the end of your visit).

Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_…) help us understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages and beers are popular. They're kept for up to 2 years.

If you leave this off, Google Analytics only receives cookie-free signals from each page load, with no identifier that recognises you on a later visit.

With marketing cookies on, we:

• record which website, search, ad or email brought you to us, and attach it to your order (WooCommerce order attribution, sbjs_ cookies, for your visit);
• measure how our Google Ads perform and may show our ads to people who have visited our site (Google Ads: _gcl_au on this site, up to 90 days, and Google's advertising cookies on doubleclick.net, up to 400 days).

If you leave this off, Google Ads only receives cookie-free signals from each page load, with no identifier that recognises you.
