|McDonnell's||Irish Red Ale on Nitro||5.3%|
Our Irish Red from brewer Tim McDonnell is a sessionable beer that pours with a creamy cascade of nitro carbonation, has a nice balanced malt presence from Maris Otter malt, and just a hint of Fuggles hops to make it interesting.More info on Untappd
Inspired by both Belgian Farmhouse beers and Bruce Springsteen's classic album Nebraska? Why not! Nebraska uses a saison yeast blend and German Hallertau Blanc hops to give this beer both citrus and earthy qualities. Those flavors are balanced against lemon peel bitterness, slightly tangy acidity, and a crisp, dry finish. Enjoy!More info on Untappd

|Yard Beer||Tart Saison with Paddle Cactus and Black Lime||5.3%|
This beer draws inspiration from plants surrounding our homes in Highland Park. The new version of Yard Beer uses paddle cactus (prickly pear cactus) and black limes. The paddle cactus come from Bob’s neighbors Mel and Steffen’s yard. The black limes come from our friend Alex Brown’s yard. He takes fresh limes and brines them and then ferments them in the sun which turns them black and intensifies the flavor. We came up with a fairly simple saison recipe for the beer that leans toward citrus and zesty pepper. We then conditioned it for a short period with our house mixed culture (Brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus) which adds a bit of earthiness to the brightness of the lime citrus and chlorphyle quality of the cactus. This should be a fun one!More info on Untappd
|Hello LA||IPA with Citra and Mosaic Hops||6.8%|
This is a bright, pungent IPA that has punchy hops yet still retains good drinkability. Hello, LA finishes dry with not too much body or malt to get in the way of the hops. Lots of new world flavors with the American hop varieties Citra and Mosaic. 6.8% abvMore info on Untappd
|Wake Up||Session Coffee Beer on Nitro||5.3%|
This beer grew out of a love for iced, black coffee. We wanted to capture both the jolt of freshness and the deep, dark flavors that somehow seem appropriate for summer. The base of the beer focuses on clean roast flavors to provide a platform for coffee from Trystero. The beans for this batch are El Salvadorian Borbonal. What we ended up with is a nice clean, soft roast that is both pungent and delicate at the same time.More info on Untappd
|Dad Joke||Hoppy Pale Ale||5.7%|
Dad Joke is a hoppy pale ale brewed with Chinook, Columbus, Cascade, and Southern Cross hops. Because of Dad we used some classic American hops in this beer alongside the new school New Zealand hop Southern Cross (gotta keep dad young). Lots of zesty citrus and resinous wood character in this beer to keep it intriguing. Beer!

About The Brewery
We’ve chosen to open a brewery because we think it is a pretty awesome world of discovery, adventure, and, quite simply, fun. We have a pretty charismatic approach to making beer in the neighborhood we live. We make the beer in a 7 bbl brewhouse under the same roof as The Hermosillo. We like to experiment with unique processes, wacky microbes, and local ingredients among other things. The brewery is comprised of four partners: Bob Kunz, Ross Stephenson, Michael Blackman and Dustin Lancaster, with Bob primarily guiding the beer along its path. Overall, Highland Park Brewery has a fairly simple goal of making excellent beer and having a good time along the journey.
