In 2015, Highland Park Brewery introduced a new craft beer sensation: the West Coast Pilsner. Born from blending a crisp German-style pilsner and a bold West Coast IPA, Timbo Pils quickly became a favorite.

Crafted with German influenced hops for a soft bitterness and floral, earthy base, then dry-hopped with Mosaic and Citra for explosive tropical flavors of mango, riesling grapes, and passionfruit, Timbo Pils strikes the perfect balance. It offers the crispness of a pilsner and the hop intensity of an IPA, resulting in a uniquely refreshing brew that’s both fruity and crisp.

TIMBO WEEK

Timbo Week is our annual celebration to honor and showcase our beloved Timbo Pils. During this special week, we offer a variety of Timbo Pils iterations and related events, highlighting the creativity and evolution of this popular West Coast Pilsner.

We also invite a few of our close brewery friends to join in the festivities by brewing their version of Timbo. We share the recipe, the story, the ethos, and let them go from there. Past participants include Pinthouse, Cellarmaker, Everywhere, Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Cloudburst, Green Cheek, Alvarado St, Monday Night, Half Acre, Amalgam, and North Park.
