Can I reserve your taproom for a private event or large group?

We currently do not accept general reservations. However, if you’re planning a private event or visiting with a large group of 35 or more guests, please reach out to [email protected] to inquire about pricing for a partial or full tasting room buyout.

Are children allowed at your Los Angeles brewery?

Yes! Our Los Angeles brewery is family-friendly. We offer a full food menu and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks for guests of all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or older. Please remember that only those 21+ can purchase or consume alcohol.

Are dogs allowed at the brewery?

Yes! Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome on our spacious outdoor patio. Bring your pup and enjoy a relaxed visit with great beer and fresh air.

Do you serve food at the taproom?

Absolutely! We offer a full food menu, typically with options for a range of dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dishes. To see what’s currently available, check out our Taproom Menu.

Can I bring outside food into the taproom?

Because we have a full kitchen, we ask that guests do not bring in outside food. We do offer plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The only exception is celebratory desserts—since we don’t currently serve desserts, you’re welcome to bring your own. Please note that we do not provide plates or utensils, so be sure to bring your own. (A sandwich or burrito (or the like) is not a dessert.)

Do you offer beer flights?

We do not serve beer flights, but most of our beers are available in two sizes: a full pour or a half pour. This way, you can still try a variety of styles at your own pace.

Can I get a growler fill at your brewery?

We are not currently offering growler fills. However, we regularly stock a wide selection of our beers in 4-packs of cans, available to go.

What if I don’t drink beer? Do you offer wine or non-beer options?

Definitely! We offer a curated wine list, plus non-alcoholic beverages, cider, seltzer, wine spritzes, and—during warmer times—rotating Seltzer Smoothies. There’s always something for everyone at our Chinatown LA brewery taproom.

Why is it called Highland Park Brewery if you’re located in Chinatown?

We’re called Highland Park Brewery because that’s where we started! Our original brewery—still in operation—is a small production-only space located behind The Hermosillo on York Blvd in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. While we’ve since opened our public taproom and kitchen in Chinatown, our roots (and name) are proudly tied to Highland Park. You’ll still find plenty of our beers on tap at The Hermosillo.

What’s with all the cats at Highland Park Brewery?

If you’ve spotted our Sad Cat merch or heard about our warehouse cats, here’s the story: we have working cats at our brewery warehouse who help protect our grain supply by keeping pests away. These cats are part of a humane working cat program that gives feral cats a safe home and a job to do. The Sad Cat art and gear you’ll see in our Chinatown taproom and online store, is our way of showing love to our helpful cat friends. To learn more about the program, visit Kitty Bungalow.

Does Highland Park Brewery have a membership program?

Yes! Our Bottle Friends membership gives you 10% off at the taproom in Chinatown Los Angeles and on online purchases. Members also get early or exclusive access to special bottle releases and limited-edition beers. Signups are currently closed.

Do you deliver beer in Los Angeles?

Yes! Highland Park Brewery offers local beer delivery on select days throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Check our Delivery page for the latest details on delivery zones and how to order. From time to time, we offer mixed cases of cans for direct shipping within California. Keep an eye on our Instagram for announcements about when these limited drops are available.

Can I buy a Highland Park Brewery gift card?

Absolutely! We sell gift cards that can be purchased in-person at our Chinatown taproom or online. Please note: gift cards purchased through our online store are valid for taproom use only.

Are you hiring?

We love what we do and are always on the lookout for great people to join our team. When we have open positions, we typically share them on our Instagram Stories—be sure to follow us for updates.

Can I buy a keg from you for a personal event/wedding/party?

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to supply kegs to retail customers at this time.

I want to serve your beer in my bar, will you distribute beer to me?

Due to our limited capacity we only have a small amount of draft accounts and a long list of interested accounts. To inquire directly about receiving beer in the future, email [email protected]

I’m a nonprofit organization, 501(c)(3), will you donate to us?

We seek to support organizations who share our goal of creating a holistic community. We strive to work with organizations who are concerned with alleviating the suffering of our neighbors, our planet, and our animal friends. While we unfortunately are unable to donate beer to events, or work with every charity who does great work, at times we are able to provide monetary donations through beer sales in our taproom.
